Toneminer
Famous guitar tones, rebuilt from the record. Every episode takes an album, finds what the internet gets wrong about the rig, and rebuilds the real tone.
New tone mine every week
The method
Receipts, then tone
Trace the sources
Amps, dates and settings pulled from interviews and print, not forum lore. Every claim gets a dated receipt.
Kill the myth
Session dates against gear ship dates. If the amp didn't exist yet, it wasn't on the record.
Rebuild and verify
The real amp when we can get it, the Quad Cortex and Tone Master Pro when we can't. Either way, A/B'd against the record on camera.
Free with every episode
The preset is the receipt
Every episode ships with the rebuilt tone. Load it, play it against the record, and judge for yourself.
